We have identified a new scam model and we wanted to bring it to your attention:  

A rental agency is contacting members with a 100 Day Guarantee offer that would rent up to four accelerated weeks of the member’s Grand Solmar Vacation Membership.

A condition of the rental agreement is that members pay the maintenance fee to the agency in advance for each of the weeks. In return, the rental agency promises to pay back a profit of approximately three times the amount paid for the total maintenance fees.

In addition, the rental agency assures members that if the rental agreement cannot be fulfilled for any reason, all maintenance fees will be returned in full.

FACTS TO DETECT RENTAL FRAUDS

• The number of weeks allowed by a membership are restricted to the benefits and regulations stipulated in the member’s contract agreement.
• Pursuant to Solmar´s Policies and the relevant contractual arrangements, only members have the authority to make reservations, and pay the maintenance fees for the weeks of their contract.
• Rental agencies are not authorized to act as intermediaries for any transactions related to member´s vacation membership.
