During these challenging times, we at the Solmar Hotels & Resorts continue to closely monitor information on the Coronavirus pandemic. There are now confirmed cases in Los Cabos as reported by Los Cabos authorities. Following the recommendations of local authorities and the World Health Organization, we have decided to temporarily pause operations at all our properties as a preventative measure. Beginning March 23, 2020, all properties will be closed in an effort to keep our members, guests, Solmar employees and residents safe and healthy. We estimate the closure will be in effect until May 2nd, 2020. The date is subject to change and we will keep you informed.
Our Reservations Call Center will also be impacted and the offices will close for inbound calls on March 27th, 2020. During the period of March 23 – 27, our agents will only be taking inbound calls for reservation arrivals through May 2nd, 2020. Please note we are suspending new reservation bookings until April 15th, 2020 at which time members can email their requests to email@example.com.
To facilitate reservation cancellations, our offices are only processing transactions for arrivals through May 1st, 2020. If the reservation(s) included the purchase of prearrival services such as meal plans, transportation, spa, and/or was a club time reservation, the amounts prepaid will be credited to the account for future reservations. Our reservation policies allow members to reschedule reservations through week 50, or internally bank week(s) for next year free of charge, which can be done on or after April 15th.
While operations are suspended at the resorts and call centers, assistance will be provided via email only. Please allow 24-48 hours for proper response to your inquiries. All inquiries must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This has been one of the most difficult decisions in our history. However, we feel confident it is the correct and responsible decision! The Solmar Hotels & Resorts family is taking this time to enhance and improve our services and work on taking care of our employees so we can be ready to welcome you back to Los Cabos when the time comes!
