Bringing Italian tradition to Cabo San Lucas

In the early days of the destination’s tourism development, dining options were very limited. It was Don Luis Bulnes, one of the great pioneers of the area and developer of iconic projects like Solmar and Playa Grande Resorts, who envisioned opening an authentic Italian restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, which he named Romeo & Julieta.

To bring his vision to life, Don Luis invited renowned Italian chef Raffaelle Di Maio to Cabo San Lucas to lead the culinary development of this special project. Together, they established a restaurant rooted in traditional Italian cuisine, laying the foundation for what, four decades later, has become one of Cabo’s most beloved and iconic dining destinations.

A Verona-inspired architectural transformation

Remaining successful for 40 years is an exceptional achievement in a community as young and dynamic as Cabo San Lucas. To honor this landmark milestone, Romeo & Julieta Restaurant has unveiled a stunning redesign inspired by the romantic streets and historic balcony of Juliet’s House in Verona.

Regional Italian cuisine crafted with premium ingredients imported directly from Italy, complemented by an exceptional selection of fine wines.

Under the leadership of our Executive Chef Matias Forte, new contemporary culinary creations have been introduced while maintaining absolute respect for the time-honored dishes that our members have come to expect on every visit.
