As part of the strategy approved by the National Institute of Immigration (INM) to provide a more streamlined service and improve the efficiency of the security process upon arrival, all international tourists traveling to Los Cabos International Airport will no longer be required to complete an immigration arrival form, neither printed or digital.
Starting on September 1st, 2022, international travelers arriving at Los Cabos International Airport will go through the normal security process that requires an in-person interview with an immigration agent and presentation of their passport document. Once this process is complete, international travelers will receive an immigration stamp in their passports indicating the maximum authorized length of their stay in Los Cabos.
Visitors wishing to extend their stay in Mexico, for 1 or more days, must contact the National Institute of Immigration (INM) within 30 days before the expiration date of their authorized stay in Mexico. For additional information on the process, please visit: https://www.gob.mx/inm
